Jazzmania is the Nashville Jazz Workshop's Annual Jazz Party and Fundraiser. All proceeds benefit the Nashville Jazz Workshop, and go to support the Workshop's mission of enriching people's lives through classes, performances, and special events for the community.
Jazzmania is the Jazz Party of the Year, with great live jazz from some of the city's finest musicians.
This year's artist lineup is sensational!
Headlining the bill is the legendary Jeff Hamilton Trio.
Before forming his own trio, drummer Jeff Hamilton was a member of the Oscar Peterson Trio and the Ray Brown Trio, and is a co-founder of the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra. Pianist Tamir Hendelman and bassist Jon Hamar are powerhouse jazz artists in their own right. The trio has visited the Jazz Cave several times over the years, playing to sold-out audiences. It will be a special treat for a larger Nashville audience to hear them at this great event, often dubbed "the Jazz Party of the Year."
Another special treat will be the appearance of vocalist Dara Tucker and her band! Dara has become a favorite of Nashville audiences with her impeccable vocal style and delivery, wide-ranging repertoire, and creative compositions.
The combination of the Jeff Hamilton Trio and Dara Tucker will make this year's Jazzmania an evening to remember!
